Heart Surgery

Hi! My name is S---.
I’m 1 year old and love to cheer people up with my big smile!
I have 2 older brothers and one older sister. My brothers love to play with me but my 11 year old sister can’t. My parents had to leave our house when my sister was a baby because our town got destroyed. She got hurt on the journey and now can only lay in bed and isn’t able to talk.
We live in a camp with other people who also lost their homes.
My mom was so happy when I was born because she wanted another girl. She was sad when she learned that I have Down’s syndrome, but she loves me so much and wants to help me grow strong and healthy.
I have a heart problem that needs to be fixed with surgery. It is keeping me from growing and gaining weight. My dad has a job as a shop keeper but he doesn’t make enough money to be able to pay for the $12,000 surgery. My parents are searching for financial help from local sources as well, but anything that you can give to help will be greatly appreciated.
